VIDEO: Woollen poppies to surround Louth War Memorial in yarnbombing

Specially made woollen poppies are to be placed around Louth War Memorial in the run up to Remembrance Sunday.

The Knitters and Natters group has made them and will place them around the War Memorial in Eastgate on Tuesday.

The group call it yarnbombing.

They will then be removed ready for the laying of wreaths on Sunday November 11.

The parade will leave Northgate car park at 10.20am on Sunday and march to the memorial.
