Vintage Day in Louth

Retro and vintage fans are encouraged to dress up in outfits from their favourite era for the Vintage Day celebrations in Louth on Sunday July 7 from 1pm to 6pm as part of the Zero Degrees Festival.

Prizes are up for grabs for the best attire with a bottle of vintage champagne for the best adult costume and, thanks to Louth Playhouse Cinema, a pair of cinema tickets for the best child entry. Entrants are encouraged to dress in garments from either the 40s, 50s or 60s eras.

Alan Manby, Zero Degrees Festival Chairman, wants everyone to join in: “Some of Louth’s shops have an amazing selection of vintage finds so I’m really excited to see what people come up with.”

Vintage Day, part of the town’s Zero Degrees Festival, will take place in the Cornmarket area of the town. On stage there’ll be live music from the fabulous Slimline Papas, plus support, as well as jive performances and lessons from 52nd Street Jump and vintage memorabilia stalls will be on hand for nostalgic treasures.
