VOLUNTEERS have planted hundreds of spring bulbs at the Trusthorpe Community Garden.

The garden was opened in November after three years of planning and building by a band of local residents.

Colin Greenaway, Chairman of Trusthorpe Neighbourhood Management said the event was another step forward for the community garden.

The bulbs were kindly donated by Darren Snell of Trusthorpe Garden Centre.

Meanwhile a Christmas carol service is being held at the Trusthorpe Christmas tree which is situated on the new garden.

This takes place on Monday, December 19 from 7pm where hot drinks and mince pies will also be served.
