SUTTON on Sea’s community library will now be offering an additional service to local people thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers.

They will work alongside existing staff and their work means the library can open for an extra session every Friday.

Mayor Coun Irene Burnett was on hand to re-open the library on Friday alongside Lincolnshire County coun Graham Marsh and town couns Steve Palmer, David Marsland and Ian Wild.

Many turned up to see the grand re-opening including chair Patti Marson who led the volunteer group.

The library, in Broadway, will now be open on Fridays from 10am until 1pm to add to the existing openings on Mondays from 10am until 1pm, Wednesdays 10am until 6pm and Saturdays 10am until 1pm.

For more information pop into the library during the above opening hours.
