Walk ‘n’ Natter Olympic inspired walk in Louth

THE WALK ‘n’ Natter group extend a welcome to anyone who is 50 or over to attempt a 10,000 metre walking challenge with them on Tuesday, June 26, inspired by the Olympics.

The walk will start from the Meridian Leisure Centre at 12.30pm. There will be a stop halfway for a picnic lunch before returning to the leisure centre for a hot or cold drink some time around 4pm.

Those taking part should go prepared for walking across fields and take a sandwich or light lunch with them.

Registration is from 12noon on the day in order to be ready for a prompt start.

There is no charge and the walk will be led by ELDC programme walks officer Tracey Richardson.

The 10,000 metre Jubolympic Challenge has been accredited by East Lindsey Live, a calendar developed by East Lindsey District Council of sporting, heritage and cultural events.
