THE WATER BABIES swim school in Louth has been taking part in an on-going Splashathon to raise money for Tommy’s, the baby charity.
Pools across Lincolnshire will be seeing scores of tiny swimmers carrying out challenges to raise a national target of £100,000 in just two months and maybe even beat it.
Locally, the company is aiming to raise an equally impressive £2,000 to put towards the national total.
So far the Louth Water Babies, who hold their courses at St Bernards School in Wood Lane, have raised just over £700 with more coming in.
Parents of young splashers were encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor them doing a specially arranged activity, with all money raised going to baby charity Tommy’s.
