A fun day was held by Waterloo Housing Group to mark the completion of a £6.5 million scheme which has provided 66 new affordable homes in Brackenborough Road for local people.
The day brought together community organisations including health trainers giving full body MOT’s, live cooking demonstrations from Food for Life, and Play Rangers who ran activities with the younger residents.
Trevor Larder from Lincolnshire Credit Union said: “It’s great to be out in the community and speaking with people face to face, events like this bring people together. I’ve received a lot of interest from Waterloo’s residents about the credit union.”
The new housing is the result of a partnership between Waterloo Housing Group and East Lindsey District Council, with grant support from the Homes and Communities Agency.
