Creative locals can take part in a writing and singing programme in Louth and Mablethorpe.
The programme is organised by East Lindsey District Council with Orchestras Live, and will provide five weekly workshops giving people the chance to be as creative as they like through writing and singing sessions.
The free sessions will be supported by award winning writer Hazel Gould, nationally acclaimed composer James Redwood, one of the countries’ leading choral conductors David Lawrence and Sinfonia Viva Orchestra. The workshops are open to anyone who has an interest in singing, whether they are experienced or not.
They take place on the following dates:
Saturday, April 20, 10am–12.30pm at the Trinity Centre in Louth or 2pm-4.30pm at the Mablethorpe Community Hall.
Saturday, May 4, 10am-12.30pm at Trinity Centre, Louth or from 2pm-4.30pm at the Mablethorpe Community Hall.

Those taking part will then come together on Sunday June 16 and Saturday June 29 at Louth Town Hall with the full Sinfonia Viva Orchestra to rehearse and perform existing Fragile Shell songs, as well as share their newly created songs with each other.
People who sign up to this project will be committed to attending all of the above dates.
The finale of the project will take place during the Louth Zero Degrees Festival. Festival Chair, Alan Mumby, said: “We know the district is home to a wealth of creative people, so it’s no surprise that the Zero Degrees Festival calendar is filling up with some amazing events. It’s beginning to look like 2013 will be the year when Louth earns its place on the UK Festival map!”
