Young people aged 16-25 are being sought to act as Young Ambassadors for the SO Festival 2015.

From June 25 to July 5, the outdoor festival is set to transform the East Lindsey towns of Horncastle, Louth, Alford, Woodhall Spa, Mablethorpe, Spilsby and Skegness into an international arts venue with spectacular visual art, street theatre, world class performers and dance acts.

The annual festival will be delivered by Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure and Culture, a Partner to East Lindsey District Council.

And, as part of this year’s festival, ten Young Ambassadors are sought to play a vital role in audience engagement both before and during the festival period.

Festival Ambassador co-ordinator, Sara Bullimore, said: “This is a fabulous opportunity for young people looking for work experience or those wishing to gain future employment within the creative and cultural sector. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the arts to become the ‘face’ of the SO Festival.”

The Young Ambassadors will need to commit to 15 days from April to July during which all training will be provided and expenses, including travel, will be covered.

Anyone interested in becoming a Young Ambassador should email sara.bullimore@googlemail.com to request a short Expression of Interest form. The deadline for completed forms to be submitted is March 30.
