Be warned on parking

EDITOR – I did not know the parking arrangements in Morrisons car park in Louth had changed.

Whilst visiting Elizabeth Court I received a parking charge of £80, reduced to £50 if paid in 14 days.

You would think with the parking situation in that area of Louth being so congested, they would at least let Elizabeth Court and the Salvation Army folk for free.

After all, they use their access road to get to their store.

Perhaps this will serve as a warning to folk who live out of town, to let them know that the parking arrangements have changed.

I don’t always stop to read the car park noticeboards on a wet and windy day, so I suppose I only have myself to blame.

I shall have to remember to take care next time I go to Louth, though I don’t think I shall be shopping at this particular store again, £50 is a lot to find out of my pension.
