Be warned on parking charges

EDITOR – I did not know the parking arrangements in Morrisons car park in Louth had changed.

While visiting Elizabeth Court I received a parking charge of £80, reduced to £50 if paid in 14 days. You would think with the parking in that area of Louth being so congested, they would at least let Elizabeth Court and the Salvation Army folk for free.

Perhaps this will serve as a warning to folk who live out of town, to let them know the parking arrangements have changed.

I don’t always stop to read the car park noticeboards so I suppose I only have myself to blame. I shall have to remember to take care next time I go to Louth, though I don’t think I shall be shopping at this store again; £50 is a lot to find out of my pension.
