Editor - Re 970 homes turned down. It’s as if they’re trying to keep it a market/tourist town.
The only thing remotely market like about Louth now the Cattle Market is up for sale is the 14 stalls on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
You can’t really argue that we have Hubbard’s Hills as a tourist attraction. Yeah it’s nice and all but let’s face it, Yorkshire looks nicer. Yep, our town started was the birth of the Lincolnshire uprising, what’s to show for that? A plaque outside the church which yes is a large church and attractive in a sense, but that’s all we have to offer. The town needs that 970 home expansion before we become sleepy hollow.
