Dollar to donut it's the lens

EDITOR – As a photographer of 40 years' experience, I'll bet you a dollar to a donut the UFO is an artifact created by the bright lights shining into the lens.

This is indicated because the photographer didn't see it when he took the picture.

Very often, the cheap sensor of a cell phone goes dark on pixels where there's too much light, creating the 'donut' shape. Why it didn't do that to the oncoming headlights, I don't know.
