LETTER: Disappointed in dog policy

I moved to Louth 11 years ago and frequently enjoy a cooked breakfast at least once a week with my Husband and our German shepherd dog in the indoor market café.

However, this Saturday we went inside and were about to take a seat when we were informed that they had been recently taken over by new management and no longer allowed dogs in there.

Many friends have also enjoyed meals when they have come to visit and too were impressed that there dog could go inside and not be forced to sit out in the cold especially at this time of year.

Surely in this economic climate you should be encouraging customers rather than turning them away.
