Machines make it a pain to park

EDITOR – The new car park ticket machines...

I am 34 and I can remember my registration number and I have fully working eyes, but the poor elderly of the community are really struggling to see the buttons to press their registration number into the machine.

Because A) They cant see the small letters, B) The letters are pale yellow on a silver shiny background and C) because they can’t remember the registration number.

I have been in a queue this morning, being 10th in the queue at the Co-op.

I was fine as I understand, but there started to become complaints and rage breaking out and I feel for the elderly community.

What were the council thinking?
