Timely printing of mum’s school picture is a treasured memory

EDITOR – What a coincidence!

My cousin, who lives in Louth, bought a copy of your paper on March 7 on the way back from my mother’s funeral. She subsequently sent me the page containing the photo of Theddlethorpe school in 1929 or 1930.

My mother, formerly Alice Stones, is shown in the photo and she died at the age of 95 and her funeral was on the day the photo was published.

Her two late brothers are also shown in the photo.

Your photo is the only one I have of my mother’s childhood years, and I will treasure it.
