ARTHUR Edward Watson, formerly of Harewood Crescent, Louth, has died aged 91 at Madeira House Nursing Home in Louth.
Mr Watson was born in Newton le Willows.
He joined the RAF and came to Manby in 1938.
He was a keen gardener, fisherman and loved all kinds of animals.
In his retirement, he enjoyed his holidays with his wife Molly, travelling around Britain.
He leaves wife Molly, three children and in laws, eight grandchilden and 16 great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at Grimsby Crematorium.
