Annual match in memory of Colin Blades

THE annual Colin Blades Memorial Fund Charity Football Match and Auction will be held on Saturday May 31 at Louth's Park Avenue Ground, where the Select XI team will take on their customary rivals, Louth Town FC.
The game is now in its fourth year and is played in memory of Colin Blades who was killed in an accident in 2004.

A raffle will be held at half time with an auction later, after the full time whistle, in the club house.

Auction lots include - Geoff Hurst 1966 England shirt (COA) framed and signed; Grimsby Town 2008 Wembley shirt signed; Scunthorpe Utd shirt signed; Schlake 04 Champions League shirt signed; Lincoln City football signed; Boston Utd football signed; Middlesborough pendant signed; Sheffield Utd pendant signed; Tony Jacklin Hall of Fame Pin Flag framed and signe; Darren Clark photo signed; Valentino Rossi photo signed; Colin Edwards photo signed; England Test Squad photo framed and signed; England football shirt signed by cast members of Emmerdale; Match of the Day presenter photos signed.

Gates will open at 4.30pm for a 5pm kick off with admission fees at £2.50 (adults) and £1 (under 16's).

All proceeds raised from the evening's events will go to helping local sports at grass roots level.
