Local stars celebrate wins at Cadwell Park

CADWELL Park was host to the New Era Club Championship at the weekend.
The event brought racers from all over the country but the winner was local to Lincolnshire.

Phillip Crowe from Market Rasen came first place in the seventh race of the Era Club Championship, the Allcomers open Championship, a race exclusive to motorbikes.

Results: 2 Gary Smith, 3 Andrew Haines, 4 Max Hunt, 5 Ben Scranage, 6 Marc Hughes, 7 Robert Eagling, 8 Andrew Taylor, 9 Robert Simcock and 10 Brett Price.

Success was also celebrated by Louth’s TK Racing team after new young rider Jack Grove, 18, from Swindon had very successful day – winning three races in the Formula 600 race and coming 2nd in a fourth.

Team owner John Waller said: “We were over the moon at how well it went for Jack, and we are so pleased with his progress so far and hope he continues that next week in the British Championship”
