LOUTH Old Boys U11's finished their season with an emphatic 11-1 win over Young Dons (Donington, Spalding) at Wood Lane, Louth.
Old Boys made light work of the heavy pitch albeit they had two players sidelined following recent accidents.
Goals from Aldrich (2), Gladding, Robinson, Warsap, Southwell (2), Hall (2) and Darke (2) kept the home crowd entertained.
The goals made it 110 in all competitions throughout the season and the enviable record of the team scoring in every game they played.
Manager Ian Warsap and coach Tily Tilston along with the squad James Wink, Jack Gorst, Tim Miewald, Ryan Robinson, Chris Higgs, Luke Aldrich, Lewis Tilston, Callum Gladding, William Appleby, Jez Hall, Lawrie Warsap, Ellis Barker, Jack Southwell and Seb Darke thank Luda Civils Ltd for their kit sponsorship, Margaret Wink for organising home match raffles, parents for running the line and Tony Prestwood for organising the referees throughout their first successful season at 11 aside football.
Old Boys now go into the tournament season looking to defend the four competitions they won last year and training will resume in earnest on Tuesday evenings 6-7.30pm at Cordeaux School.
New players interested in joining the team are welcome to go along for an initial trial with the squad.
