NORTH Somercotes footballer Martin Margarson has signed another year contract with Northampton based football club, Rushdens and Diamonds FC.
The club plays in the Nationwide Blue Square Premier Conference League, which is just one below Grimsby Town.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper has played for the team for four years, and after being asked to sign for another year he took advantage of the fantastic opportunity.
He said: “It is a great place to play and has good facilities. I am just looking forward to starting pre-season training”.
Martin will return to the club in July to prepare for the season starting in August where his team will battle against Arsenal and Tottenham Hot Spurs first teams in two pre-season warm up matches.
