SEVERAL records were broken in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League 2008 season.
Mark Fell and Rob Cook, both of Bracebridge Heath, claimed most runs in a season and highest individual score respectively, Fell smashing the previous record of 1085 set in 2003 by Dodda Ganesh, then with Owmby, as he notched up 1187 runs from 15 innings.

Cook added 12 runs to the previous best individual score of 234 set by Nadeem Javed of Market Deeping, also in 2003.

And Cook and Fell also claimed the first wicket partnership record with 257 runs, seven more than the total set in 2002 by Bourne's Richard Howitt and Ashley Wright, brother of England international Luke.

Tom Andrews and David Gillett of Market Deeping were the other record breakers, putting on 228 for the fourth wicket against Messingham - 31 more than the former record held coincidentally by Tony Wood and Dave Dawson of Messingham since 2004.

The wicketkeeping award is claimed by Graham West of Louth with 26 dismissals, closely followed by Liam Mitchell of Caistor with 23 and Oliver Burford of Grimsby with 22.
