THE penultimate Wolds Dash of the five race series saw Louth Athletics Club runners Richard Brown, who leads the Senior Men's Category, and Nick Marsh, who leads the Veteran Men's Category, gaining 1st and 2nd place.
The tough and challenging course of just under seven and a half miles attracted a large entry on the night, Shaun North (Boston A C) gained 3rd spot, while 1st home for the Cleethorpes and Grimsby clubs to gain 4th place was Dave Parker.

The females race was won by veteran runner from Cleethorpes A C Emma White, while Sheryl Thorpe from Mablethorpe Running Club gained maximum points for the Ladies Senior Category and was 1st runner home for her club.

Richard Hallam of Mablethorpe Running Club ventured north to York for the Millennium Bridge 5k, the event which attracted several Lincolnshire based runners and resulted in Richard claiming a highly respectable 51st position in a time of 18m 43s.
