Thousands at Cadwell Park

THOUSANDS descended on Cadwell Park over the bank holiday weekend for the 11th round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
Legbourne's Ryuichi Kiyonari, riding for Louth based HM Plant Honda, came second in both Superbike races.
Results -
Superbike Race 1: 1 Haslam (Ducati), 2 Kiyonari (Honda), 3 Sykes (Honda), 4 Byrne (Honda), 5 Crutchlow (Suzuki), 6 Tommy Hill (Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha).
Superbike Race 2: 1 Rea (Honda), 2 Kiyonari (Honda), 3 Lavilla (Ducati), 4 Crutchlow (Suzuki), 5 Sykes (Honda), 6 Tommy Hill (Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha).
Championship Standings: 1 Kiyonari - 388, 2 Rea - 347, 3 Haslam - 313, 4 Lavilla - 294, 5 Byrne - 257, 9 Tommy Hill (Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha) - 135.
The penultimate round of the Bennetts Superbike Championship is at Donington Park in four weeks time (21 – 23 September 21-23).
