CADWELL Park will be stepping back in time this Sunday (August 31) as the finest vehicles of yesteryear go head-to-head at the VSCC Vintage Sports Car Festival.
The festival will feature a packed programme of 11 races including both pre-war and post-war cars.
Headlining the day will be the Shuttleworth and Nuffield Race for pre-1955 vehicles, with a full grid of classic cars such as the 1954 Cooper Bristol T23 and a 1933 MG KN Special battling for a series of trophies.

Other highlights include a race for Frazer Nash sports cars to celebrate the British manufacturer's 75th anniversary, the Melville and Geoghegan trophy for pre-war sports cars, and a race for 1950s Formula 3 cars.
There will also be the John Holland trophy for cars built prior to 1930.

Brave drivers will be competing in a race for three-wheeler Morgan cars – a six lap event in which supercharged tricycles hurtle around Cadwell Park carrying either a lead ballast or a passenger.

With an open paddock and friendly atmosphere, the Vintage Sports Car Festival is a great opportunity to find out more about the design and technology of wartime vehicles as well as watch eleven entertaining races.
