AMBER Moss, 13, is competing in the CEP Marathon fencing competition in Paris this weekend.
As reported, the Monks Dyke Technology College student has been selected to be part of the England Fencing U15 team.
Amber’s ambition is to fence for her country at the Olympics.
She trains every week at Monks’ Dyke with private coach Glenn Darnell and has been given free membership to Meridian Leisure Centre so she can prepare for future competitions.
Glenn said: “Amber’s enthusiasm is only matched by her potential ability.” Amber is a member of Louth Fencing Club and it is their coach, Jim Harris, who started Amber on her path to success.
