Chloe’s huge haul seals annual fishing match for Monks’ Dyke
Pupils from Monks' Dyke School and Kind Edward Grammar School, both in Louth, at their annual fishing match at Saltfleetby Fisheries.
A HUGE haul by Chloe Cook helped Monks’ Dyke Technology College edge King Edward VI Grammar School in the annual fishing match at Saltfleetby on Saturday.
Chloe’s 43lb 10oz haul was the individual best of the match which saw Monks’ Dyke’s 66lb 14oz just beat King Edward’s 52lb 12oz on the day.
This was the second annual fishing match held at Saltfleetby Fisheries, and organised by Monks’ Dyke maths teacher Dave Spence.
A trophy, kindly donated by the venue, was handed to Monks’ Dyke for their efforts on the day.
Dave is hoping more schools in the area will get involved next year, anyone interested can contact him on 01507 606349.
