LOUTH’S Arran Brindle helped England complete an unbeaten tour of South Africa as they wrapped up a Twenty20 series win to add to their earlier 50-over whitewash.
England won by seven wickets on Sunday to claim a 2-0 20-over win after the second match was abandoned due to rain.
All-rounder Brindle hit 9* on Sunday to add to her 8* in Thursday’s win, but did her bit with the ball picking up a wicket in each game.
On Sunday, Brindle grabbed the all important wicket of opener Cri-Zelda Brits for 50.
England will enjoy a well earned break now before they tour New Zealand in February and March.
