LOUTH CC’s 1sts sit ninth in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League after five games as they fell to a 165 run defeat at Skegness at the weekend.

A huge 169 not out from Saeed Bariwala saw an opening stand of 126 with Peter Houghton (58) for Skegness who took his total past 200 for the season.

In reply Louth could only manage 128 despite a half century from Matt Crowther, with Oliver Pringle taking six wickets.
