Brave Louth Town U13s are finally beaten

Louth Town’s U13s side acquitted themselves very well but were unable to stop visitors Hykeham U13s winning the weekend game 2-0.

The Louth defence and goalkeeper William Lanson were bombarded from the start of the match but performed heroics early on, repelling waves of attacks.

They did manage to get to half time at 0-0, but after the break the away side took a foothold and went ahead after Lanson saved but the loose ball was slammed home.

And it was 2-0 when Town were caught on the break shortly after.

It was a terrific game and the young home side did extremely well against a higher division side.
