LOUTH Town have a busy few months ahead as they look to climb up the league table in the second half of the season.
A heavy cup schedule as well as two postponed matches before Christmas means Paul Walden’s side have games in hand on many of the teams around them in the Baris Northern Counties East League Division One.
They have 17 league fixtures still to play as well as a Wilkinson Sword Cup semi-final tie against Shirebrook Town on January 24.
Should they reach the cup final it will mean Louth will play a whopping 49 games this season.
Next up Louth host Hemsworth Miners Welfare on Saturday, before a trip to Appleby Frodingham and a home game against Teversal.
After the cup game they face a tough run of nine fixtures, eight of which are away from home.
They finish the season with a home game against Rossington Main at Park Avenue.
