Louth Town’s U13 side returned from their Christmas break with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Long Bennington.

After dominating the early exchanges, Louth fell behind to the visitors’ only attack in the first half. However, James Larder finished off a good move to equalise.

The second half saw Louth continue to find the going heavy on a difficult pitch and despite several chances, failed to finish off a spirited Long Bennington side.

Louth missed more opportunities and were grateful to keeper Will Lawson for a save that saw them earn a point that may prove useful at the end of the season.
