Cordeaux Academy’s Year 7 played King Edward VI Grammar School in a Louth school derby at London Road looking to make it three straight wins following victories over Skegness Grammar and Monks’ Dyke,

Cordeaux started well, creating some early chances thanks to good runs from wingers Kyle McLoughlin and Callum West, but KEVIG went ahead from a set piece and then made it 2-0 with a penalty.

Cordeaux’s approach was to attack using box-to-box runs from Pako Shilling after the break, but their opponents scored a third on a counter-attack.

Man-of-the-match was shared between captain Tom Scott and Shilling.
