The White Wolves go into the festive period on a high having bagged three goals and three points at home to Rossington on Saturday
From the off Louth were always firmly in control but seemed to go about their work in a reserved manner.
They had the majority of possession producing some neat passes but not appearing to go anywhere.
However it took a bit of brilliance to break the deadlock. Norton cut through the middle and fed the ball to Kennedy who coolly took on three defenders to shoot in from about 12-yards.
The second half was a bit livelier and soon Norton had a great chance with only the ‘keeper Wildey to beat.
Wildey did not say no to his early Christmas present as the shot went straight to his gloves.
Then followed a host of chances, a Coulson header going wide, a Norton header off target and Kilmore’s lob on the ‘keeper just too over ambitious.
Then on the 64th minute Hyland’s long through ball reached Coulson who beat the offside trap and the ‘keeper.
Wildey got a second present after Norton was brought down in the area and Steven’s penalty was played straight to him.
Two up and hardly a shot from Rossington it was time for the substitutes to come on. First Croft and then Chapman whose first touch resulted in a third goal. He latched on to a good clearance from Drury to right foot the ball under the ‘keeper to round off the win.
Town now look forward to Saturday, December 27, when they face a tough home game against leaders AFC Emley at 3pm. Louth Town thank match and ball sponsors Jessops Construction Ltd.
