A FLURRY of late goals gave Louth Town’s U13s side a fine 7-4 win at Boston Saints on Sunday in the Midlincs League.
The visitors opened the scoring early on when Joe Wrisdale’s deflected shot fell to Ryan Bingham to slot home.
But the game was turned on its head as the home side equalised and then fired themselves into the lead after some good midfield play.
Wrisdale was denied for Louth before Bingham latched onto Harry Margeson’s through ball to make it 2-2 going into the break.
Town then got their noses back in front when Tom Williams scored a superb free kick from the edge of the box after Bingham was brought down, and Wrisdale netted a further brace when the home side began to throw players forward.
Bingham then brought up his hat trick to make it 6-2.
But Boston continued to press forward in an attempt to get back into the game and were able to pull one back before Wrisdale wrapped up his hat trick with a close range finish.
Man of the match was Louth defender Ivan Koslow.
