Louth Town boss Daryl Clare has tipped his side for more success this season after last season’s club record finish.
The White Wolves finished third in the NCEL Division One in May, the club’s highest ever finish, after an incredible late run of form.
Town are set to host Boston Town at Park Avenue on Tuesday night in their first pre-season friendly of the summer.
“The first two training sessions have gone really well and the players look hungry,” Clare said.
“With a couple of new signings on board I feel we have a great chance of success and with the backing of some local companies I feel the club can have a fantastic season.”
Town’s first team are also set to remember Colin Blades and Kerry Coggle in a memorial match against a Lincolnshire League Select XI at Park Avenue on Saturday.
Following the match, a Colin Blades fund over 35 team will play a Kerry Coggle over 35 team.
There will be a raffle and barbeque and if you would like to donate a raffle prize, please take it on the day.
Gates open at 12.30pm.
