In the Louth Leader Five-a-Side League Premier, Chris Ella was the difference as Old Boys secured a close-fought 2-0 win against #DS9.

They lead the division by a point with three games left. Louth Legends claimed a 5-0 walkover win as their opponents OPY did not arrive, while Mark Donner AFC beat BF Pitches 4-2 thanks to Karl Donner and Danny Rance, to stay fourth.

Manby FC had a friendly and benefited with a 5-0 win over Marshall BMW.

* The Louth Leader Championship’s game of the night saw Louth All Stars pegged back by Is Your Motherwell in a 1-1 draw.

At the opposite end, Real SoSoBad’s consistent performer Daniel Marsh helped his team defeat Ambulance All Stars 3-1 as they finally crawled off the bottom.

Newcomers Susie’s Stars were not given a warm reception as the Dragons fired three past them, while Tetney Tigers grabbed a 5-0 walkover against Job Centre XI to break their losing streak and stay in contention.
