Louth Old Boys FC shortlisted for Lincolnshire Sports Awards

Louth Old Boys Football Club have been shortlisted in the top three for the Lincolnshire Sports Club Of the Year 2015 award.

The awards ceremony takes place at Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday, November 5 when the winners will be announced.

The club, which was nominated for the award, was established in 1977 and is run on a voluntary basis.

It currently has more than 260 active members, and runs juniors, girls, ladies and senior teams, all playing league football at all levels.

Club chairman Ewan Findlay said: “We are very proud to be nominated for this award, and it shows some reward for the hard work and commitment, by all, in running a club at the high standards we offer.”
