Louth Old Boys juniors give Foxes the bursh-off

Louth Old Boys Under 15s team have found it tough going following promotion to the Mid-Lincs A League this season, but they enjoyed a welcome win on Sunday.

They were delighted to notch up a 2-0 home victory over Newark side Fernwood Foxes thanks to a goal in each half from Drew Simmonds and Liam Keefe, backed up by some smart defending.

The team in the familiar Louth Old Boys red and black kit, sponsored by Thurlby Motors, will head off to France during the Easter school holidays to take part in the annual Le Tournoi tournament organised by Louth’s French twin town La Ferte Bernard.
