AFTER a very long hard season, plagued with injuries, Sunday saw the season completed for Louth Old Boys U14s in the Mid Lincs B League with a commanding 6-1 win over Wyberton to clinch the league championship.

The team has battled all season to remain in the top two positions of the league, and after beating the top team at their ground a few weeks ago, and another result going in their favour, the lads realised the title was there to be had.

Season totals saw 18 wins, one draw, one loss.

They thanked Via Italia for sponsoring the Kit.

The team is: Tim Carling Asst Manager/Coach, Ewan Findlay Manager Coach, Callum Brown, Tom Collins, Robbie Aldrich, Liam Brocklebank, Paul Day (asst), Will Collins, Tom Petchell, Calum Garthwaite, Peter Lidstonne Scott, Alfie Lyons, Jacob Dales, Mathew Cahalin, Angus Findlay (capt).

They will be playing in the Mid Lincs A League next season at U15s and are always on the lookout for new players. Call Ewan on 07825 397979.
