Louth Six-a-Side League: Half Past 12 win inaugural title

The final week of the Louth Six-a-Side League saw Half Past 12 crowned the inaugural champions.

They wrapped up the Premier Division title with their 11th win of the campaign, a 2-0 victory over runners-up Bend it like Bendtner.

Fulstow Rovers wrapped up their campaign with a 7-0 win over Exeter, while MMUK finished the season strongly in fourth after a 2-1 win over Louth Legends. Louth All Stars came from 2-0 down to beat relegated Dragon Men, 3-2.

In the Championship, Mark Donner didn’t leave anything to chance and clinched the title with a 5-0 win over Job Centre XI who finished fourth despite losing their final two games.

#DS9 put in a stunning performance in the battle for promotion, beating Is Your Motherwell 4-1 to seal second spot. Ambulance All Stars beat Tetney Tigers 2-0, but failed to lift themselves off the bottom despite an incredible second half of the season which followed seven straight defeats.

Real SoSoBad got their first win, beating Subs 2-1 to ensure they avoided the wooden spoon.
