Louth Six-a-Side League: Legends ease past title rivals Mark Donner

Louth Legends extended their lead in the Louth Six-a-Side League Premier with a comfortable 4-0 win over second-placed Mark Donner.

Goals from Jason Collinson, Ellis Barker and Will Ramirez helped end Donner’s unbeaten record.

LA Crusaders stayed third after they and Louth All Stars played out a points match, won by the Crusaders.

Jordan Standland’s hopeful long-range strike edged fourth-placed Game of Throw-Ins to a 1-0 win over Petr Cech Yourself, and Marshall BMW are a point behind in fifth after a late winner dashed the hopes of strugglers Team P and B after a 2-1 victory.

* Alex Nichols scored five as Championship leaders Job Centre XI pipped Golden Oldies in a goal-laden 13-goal thriller.

Jamie Clark also found the net four times for second-bottom Oldies in the 7-6 defeat.

Louth OGz stayed hot on their heels, two points back after demolishing bottom side Tekkerslovakia 10-0 thanks to a man-of-the-match performance from Frazer Chapman.

Susie’s Stars are also just two points behind the leaders after shading Stroke T 1-0 in a hard-fought encounter. RealSoSoBad remain fourth despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Sub Standard who sit a place and point below.
