Everyone at Louth Town FC were saddened to hear of the tragic death of one of their most loyal supporters last week.
Barry Brown, 77, was killed in the crash on the A16 just outside Louth last Tuesday.
Along with his close friends Ivan and John, Barry was an ever present at Park Avenue and travelled to many away games supporting the White Wolves.
The club said: “Barry was a very friendly man with an excellent knowledge of football and a good sense of humour, always one for a witty comment.
“He will be sorely missed by everyone at Louth Town from the officers to Daryl Clare and his management team, the players and of course his fellow supporters.
“The thoughts of everyone at the club go out to his family at this sad time.”
