Louth Town’s game at Dinnington hit by freeze

LOUTH Town saw yet another game called off on Saturday, their fifth postponement of the new year.

A Saturday morning pitch inspection at Dinnington Town’s Phoenix Park ground saw the match referee deem the pitch to be too frozen to play.

The White Wolves will now turn their attentions to Saturday’s home game against strugglers Askern Villa at Park Avenue as they look to get their season going again.

Town still have 14 league games to squeeze in during the final two months of the season, as well as a cup semi-final and a possible two-legged cup final.

Don’t forget under 16s can get free entry to Saturday’s game, just buy your copy of the Leader on Wednesday for all the details.
