LOUTH Town’s trip to AFC Emley on Saturday fell victim to the weather, meaning both of the last two White Wolves game have been postponed.
The referee called the game off following a 10am pitch inspection at the Welfare Ground.
But Louth’s reserve team were able to play and completed an 8-0 rout against Sleaford Town’s second string. A hat trick from Andy Willoughby as well as strikes from Cope, Coulson, Bailey, Burton and Hunter earned the win.
The first team’s next game is therefore the local derby at Grimsby Borough on Tuesday, December 27. Grimsby sit four places below Paul Walden’s men in 18th place.
