Louth Town will launch their promotion charge this season with a local derby when they visit nearby Cleethorpes Town on Saturday, August 10.

Daryl Clare’s men, who finished a club record third in the Northern Counties East League Division One table last season, will be hoping to go one better this time around with a top two finish to take them to the NCEL Premier League.

But Town face a difficult start, Cleethorpes finished just one place below the White Wolves last season and won 6-1 when the two sides met in February.

Town host Grimsby Borough on Saturday, October 26 and welcome Cleethorpes to Park Avenue on Saturday, January 11.

The visit to Grimsby Borough is set to be played on Saturday, March 29 and Town finish their campaign with a visit to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on Saturday, April 26.

Louth’s FA Cup campaign begins with a preliminary round visit to Borrowash Victoria on Saturday, August 17, just a week into the new season.
