With the Musketeers failing to fulfil their Mablethorpe Five-A-Side League fixture Pure Banter and Inter YN met in a high-scoring friendly which ended 5-5.

Gavin Hopkin was named man-of-the match for his quickfire hat-trick.

Norfolk Chance went top of the league on goal difference, tied on points with Mabo Reserves and Purple Cobra Ducks with a crushing 15-4 win over SA shooters, Dan Marshall scooping the award as playmaker and goalscorer.

Purple Cobra Ducks maintained their title bid with a 13-2 demolition of Pure Banter with Matty Sirett given the man-of-the-match honour for his defensive work.

A fine mid-table clash saw the Candy Flossers edge Gerry Hat-tricks 2-1 despite a goal of the season contender from Gerry’s Callum Rope. Shaun Henderson was man-of-the-match.

Overnight leaders Mabo Reserves dropped to third on goal difference despite a 5-0 win over Johnsonbenoncn who piled on plenty of early pressure.
