New six-a-side football league in Louth

FREE kits and free entry are being offered as part of a new six-a-side league which is starting in Louth.

Soccersixes have set up the league on Wednesday evenings at London Road Pavillion, and grading games are just two weeks away.

The league has just three team places remaining with five teams signed up so far.

There will be two divisions and a grading night is being held on Wednesday, November 23 to determine the league placings for each side.

The league has proven to be widely popular so far and all teams signing up will be contacted next week with details of the grading games.

Soccersixes’ new league manager, Chris Sockett, said: ‘I am delighted to be given the opportunity to manage this new league. The league promises to be so exciting with so many teams already signed up.

“Whilst I am not surprised with how many teams have joined with teams being given free kits I am overwhelmed and happy that the league is set to be biggest in the area and most popular.”

The Sixes website has now been upgraded and will feature up-to-date league tables, fixtures, top players, match reports and other daily league information online at www.soccersixes.net.

Meanwhile the Sixes league is also on the lookout for referees with one vacancy remaining. The refereeing roles are paid and kit is provided.

Interested players and referees can call 07528 380094 or 0845 3008886 for details or visit the website. Further queries from existing teams can be made via email to info@soccersixes.net.
