Video: Wins come in threes for sports teams at St Michael’s School in Louth

Three sports teams from St Michael’s School in Louth have enjoyed the sweet taste of victory at recent inter-school competitions.

The year five/six boys football team saw off all comers in the recent tournament at Cordeaux, beating Louth rivals Lacey Gardens in the final.

Meanwhile the mixed netball team from year six saw off North Cockerington in their final to win a tournament at Monks’ Dyke in Louth.

And a team of year five/six cross country runners won another Louth-area race to bring a hat trick of wins for the school.

School head Paul Fox congratulated the teams on their wins and the school now have a special Olympic-style noticeboard displaying mock-up medals with the children’s names in them.
