DESPITE the continued wet weather, Grimoldby Cricket Club managed four games this week.
The U11s continued their league campaign away at Horncastle. The home team won by eight wickets.
U13 league leaders, Grimoldby, progressed to the East Lindsey knock out cup semi finals with a comfortable win over Alford.
The Academy team were in action on Saturday and dodged the showers to beat Graves Park.
Grimoldby batted first and scored 217 for nine in their allotted overs, with Jake Sanders scoring a magnificent 125.
In reply, Graves Park could only manage 78 and were bowled out in the 26th over with Daniel Clark picking up three wickets.
The first team scored an impressive victory in division 2 of the East Lindsey League, defeating Holton le Clay by 95 runs. Grimoldby batted first and amassed 267 runs in their 40 overs, Michael Brown top scoring with 140.
This proved too great a run chase for Holton le Clay, the middle order rallied with Cash (64) and Griffin (51) however the home team were bowled out in the 39th over for 172. Sam Cherry taking five for 23.
